Introduction for Patsy
It gives me great pleasure to introduce Patsy Hatfield Lawson.
She is a Southern Storyteller, Award-Winning Teacher, marriage and family therapist, and an Inspiring Speaker who has appeared on National Public Radio, won a variety of awards and has been chosen to represent her home state of Tennessee in storytelling.
She has spoken to corporations, associations, nurses, engineers, churches, educational groups, civic groups, volunteer organizations, and senior citizens.
Her first storytelling CD, “Perfect Quilts and Burnt Coffee” is in its second printing. The second CD, “Aunt Ruby’s Funeral Trip was a runner up in 2007 for best storytelling CD of the year. The third CD, “Weddings, Funerals and Other Disasters” had received professional acclaim.
Patsy is a 40 year marriage veteran who, along with the help of her husband Herman, have raised two sons, age 37, and 26.
She defines her true life passions as family connections, diversity and peace keeping.
